WBC Super Flyweight World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (44-4-1, 40 KOs) will defend his title against challenger Juan Francisco "El Gallo" Estrada (36-2, 25 KOs) "marking the second defense for Sor Rungvisai since he claimed the title in March of 2017. The hotly-anticipated match is set for Saturday, February 24 at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Sor Rungivsai has had quite the impressive showing lately. The Thai superstar upset the then-undefeated powerhouse Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez in March of 2017 to take the WBC title from him. It was a hard-fought and controversial match, so much so that they scheduled a re-match a few months later in September. In that fight, Sor Rungvisai handily clobbered his opponent and put any doubts to rest about who was king of the division. Now, he looks to keep his winning streak alive and hold onto the belt he's fought so hard to get.

Estrada, hailing from Sonora, Mexico is also having a remarkable year, recently coming off of a decisive victory this past September over Carlos Cuadras. The 27-year-old Estrada has not lost a match in nearly six years and is now poised and ready to take his shot at the Super Flyweight world title.

"We have so many great fighters in the super flyweight division, and it is exciting for me because there are many world class opponents that can make terrific fights," said Sor Rungvisai. "Juan Francisco Estrada is definitely among the top-class fighters in our division. "However, I am confident that I will be successful in this fight because I will be at my best on fight night again."

"I am very excited about facing Sor Rungvisai ... he will be a difficult challenge as he defeated Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez twice in a row with a vicious KO in their last fight,"said Estrada. "Sor Rungvisai is a very tough and skilled boxer so I will have to prepare very well to be ready to challenge him for his belt."
